Few foods provoke warm feelings of home and comfort for me like a homemade chicken pie. This has been one of my favorite recipes for years. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients
1/4cupbutter
1cupflour
1 tspbaking powder
1tspsalt
1/4tsppepper
1cupmilk
4chicken breasts or canned chicken
1 1/4cupchicken broth
Cream Soup
1tbspbutter
1tbspflour
1cupmilk
1/4tspsalt
1/8tsppepper
Instructions
Cook chicken and remove all bones and skin. (May use canned chicken to save time).
Place cooked chicken in medium size casserole dish. Pour hot chicken broth over chicken.
To prepare cream soup, melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and cook just until the mixture bubbles. Add milk and stir constantly until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour cream soup over chicken in casserole dish. Then combine the flour, salt, baking powder and pepper. Add melted butter and milk to flour mixture and stir until combined. Pour this mixture over the chicken. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
